Job Description:
Transcribes dictation by physicians and other healthcare providers in order to document patient care. Transcription is done according to transcription guidelines, standards of style, and formats of practice.
Medical Transcription Editor
Job Description:
1. Edits transcribed document against actual dictation to ensure accuracy of the report. Editing is done consistently and fairly according to transcription guidelines, standards of style, and formats of practice.
2. Provides timely and consistent quality feedback to inform and update the transcriptionists regarding quality issues and areas of concern to help eliminate repetition of errors.
